Free AI Workout Plan Generator: No Sign-Up Required

This tool builds a free personalized weekly workout plan right on this page. Pick your goal, experience, training days, and equipment, and it assembles a full week from the same split and exercise library that powers ego, the AI fitness coach for iPhone. No account, no email, nothing leaves your browser.

What this generator builds

The generator picks a training split that fits your schedule. Two or three days a week gets full-body sessions, or an upper/lower rotation once you have some experience. Four days runs a classic upper/lower split. Five days uses a push/pull/legs plus upper/lower hybrid, so every muscle works twice a week. These are the same split templates ego's coach chooses from inside the app, including "Upper/Lower (4 days)" and "Push/Pull/Legs + Upper/Lower (5 days)".

Each training day lists five to seven exercises drawn from ego's library of 155 movements, filtered to your equipment. Sets and rep ranges follow your goal: muscle gain leans heavier, around 4 sets of 5 to 8 reps on compound lifts. Fat loss uses moderate ranges with shorter rest, and the plan reminds you that the deficit does the actual fat loss. Maintenance sits in the middle. Beginners get one fewer working set and easier exercise variations; advanced lifters get an extra set on the big lifts.

Everything runs in your browser with plain JavaScript. There is no server call, no tracking of your answers, and no sign-up wall before the results. If you want a different mix, hit shuffle and the tool swaps in other exercises from the same library that still fit your equipment and the day's muscle targets.

How to use your plan

  1. Save it before you leave

The plan lives only on this page. Screenshot it or copy it into your notes so it survives the tab closing.

  2. Spread the days out

Put at least one rest day between hard sessions where you can. A 3-day plan fits well on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday; a 5-day plan works best with the legs day mid-week.

  3. Pick starting weights conservatively

Choose a weight where you could still do 2 or 3 more reps at the end of each set. Form first, load second, especially in week one.

  4. Progress every week

When you hit the top of the rep range on every set of an exercise, add a little weight or one rep next session. That slow climb is what changes your body.

What a web generator can't do

Honest limits: this page gives you a solid template, and a template is where its job ends. It does not know how strong you are, so it cannot suggest working weights; you pick those yourself. It does not know when you skip Tuesday, so the plan just sits there while the week drifts. And it has no nutrition side at all, even though food decides most of a fat loss or muscle gain outcome.

Those three gaps are exactly what the ego app covers. Its AI coach estimates your working weights per exercise and updates them as you log sets. When you miss a session, it rebuilds the rest of the week instead of letting the plan rot. It reads sleep and recovery from Apple Health, analyzes your nutrition daily, and adjusts the plan as you go. If the free plan above gets you training, the app is what keeps the plan alive month after month.

Frequently asked questions

Is this workout plan generator really free?
Yes. It runs entirely in your browser, asks for no account or email, and sends nothing to a server. ego earns money from its iPhone app subscription, so this page can stay free without a catch.
Can it build a plan for my equipment?
Yes. Choose full gym, dumbbells only, or bodyweight, and the generator filters ego's exercise library down to movements you can actually do. A bodyweight plan swaps the barbell bench press for push-up variations, and a dumbbell plan leans on rows, presses, and Romanian deadlifts you can load at home.
How is the ego app different from this free tool?
This page assembles a fixed weekly template. The app runs the full AI coach: it suggests working weights for every exercise, rebuilds your week when you miss a session, reacts to your sleep and recovery data from Apple Health, and pairs training with photo-based nutrition tracking.
