1. What ego Provides

ego provides fitness, workout planning, nutrition tracking, progress insights, and AI-powered coaching features. The Service may use information you enter, photos you upload, and health or fitness data you choose to connect, such as Apple Health or wearable data, to generate suggestions and summaries.

2. Fitness and Nutrition Disclaimer

ego is not a medical device, healthcare provider, dietitian, or emergency service. Content generated by the Service is for general fitness, nutrition, and wellness information only and is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

You are responsible for deciding whether workouts, nutrition targets, and other recommendations are appropriate for you. Before starting a new exercise or nutrition program, consider speaking with a qualified healthcare professional, especially if you have a medical condition, injury, pregnancy, eating disorder history, or other health concern. Stop exercising and seek medical help if you experience pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, or other concerning symptoms.

3. Accounts and Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your account information accurate and for protecting access to your account. You are also responsible for all activity that happens through your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service. For example, you may not:

Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, abusive, or fraudulent purposes; interfere with or attempt to access systems, data, or accounts without permission; reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service; upload content that infringes someone else’s rights; or use the Service to create medical, emergency, or other high-risk decisions.

5. Your Content and Data

You keep ownership of content you submit to the Service, such as workout preferences, food photos, nutrition logs, notes, and other entries. You give us permission to host, process, display, analyze, and otherwise use your content only as needed to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service.

6. AI Features

ego may use AI systems to estimate nutrition values, generate workout plans, summarize progress, and provide coaching suggestions. AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate for your situation. You should review AI output carefully and use your own judgment before relying on it.

7. Subscriptions, Billing, and Refunds

Some features may require a paid subscription or in-app purchase. Prices, renewal terms, trial availability, and included features are shown before purchase and may change from time to time.

Purchases made through the Apple App Store are billed by Apple and are also subject to Apple’s terms. You can manage or cancel App Store subscriptions in your Apple account settings. Refund requests for App Store purchases are handled by Apple, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including the ego name, logos, design, software, text, images, and other materials, is owned by EgoApp or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not give you ownership of the Service or permission to use our branding except as needed to use the Service normally.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service may connect to or rely on third-party services, including Apple Health, App Store services, analytics, infrastructure, AI providers, and wearable or integration providers. We are not responsible for third-party services, and their own terms and privacy policies may apply.

10. Changes and Availability

We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time. We may also update these Terms when the Service or applicable requirements change. If a change is material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, such as by updating this page or providing an in-app notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created risk for the Service or other users, or used the Service in a way that may cause legal or security issues.

12. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EgoApp will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, health outcomes, or business opportunities arising from your use of the Service.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Russian Federation, without regard to conflict of law rules, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country provide otherwise.
